NEWS

The Amenity Forum Conference 2010 will be held at The Keepmoat Stadium, Doncaster on Wednesday 6th October.

This event will be very important, since it will be the first opportunity to find out how the consultation has gone and how the sustainable use directive will actually change the way we work.

The conference will be sponsored by: Headland Amenity; JSD Rail; Nomix-Enviro; Sherriff Amenity and Vale Engineering.

Presentations and interactive sessions will cover the following areas

  • The Sustainable Use Directive - How it will change the way we apply pesticides.
  • Continuing Professional Development - The way forward.
  • Equipment Testing - the needs and the practicalities of testing.
  • Spraying in Public Places - how best can we achieve this?
  •
  • Download - Registration Form(pdf) and Agenda(pdf)

  • The Guidance Notes section on the library page has now been updated with more information. Please read these carefully, since impending changes to UK pesticides legislation, due to The Sustainable Use Directive, will likely make a lot of "best practice" into statutory instruction.
